All the pieces compliment each other as well I think.
I'm just pleased that all the street art we have in our area isn't damaged, or vandalised in any way, but left for all to see. Unless, of course, you think of popping the balloon as being vandalisim?Andy Guntonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00402607157584209849noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3604147601973013359.post-42668386435366966212013-06-18T15:34:22.195+01:002013-06-18T15:34:22.195+01:00What's interesting to me, is that we're ju...What's interesting to me, is that we're just guessing that the balloon explosion and subsequent "Pop!" were each added by different people than the original balloon artist. In reality it all could have been one person, or two, or three!

And what's even more interesting to me, is that it doesn't really matter. Leaving aside - for a moment - that the splatter also got on a few innocent vehicles, I would say it did not desecrate the original, but added to it. (Although beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, and addition may or may not = improvement).

I think that if you're going to create anonymous street art, you should assume that you are also releasing some of your ownership rights to the creation... that you are putting a Creative Commons open license on it for others to improve upon, add to, and adapt into additional artworks... including the photos that you publish here.Ken Goldsteinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14352088132228110064noreply@blogger.com
